An exciting new stage of their lives beckons for four of our young members
Four of our young members are about to leave us to start their studies at university. The Church Family is very proud of them and would like to wish them every success with their studies.
- Michael Lucking who is going to Swansea to study Sport & Exercise Science.
- Giovanna Gayle who is heading to Southampton to study Ancient History.
- Tiwa Adebayo will be going to Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge to read Theology and Religious Studies.
- Juliana Keshishian who is going to Leeds to study Politics and International Relations
At the beginning of September each one was presented during Divine Service with a gift box by their fellow youth which Youth Leader, Naomi Burgess, said contained some fun things, some useful things, some not very useful things which she hoped that they would treasure as much as the church treasured them. She added that they were all looking forward to hearing their stories, advising them to remember God and those they left behind as they entered this new stage of their lives which could be tricky but also huge fun, wishing them success, happiness and advising them to make lots of friends. She also asked God to look after them and keep them safe and close to Him and reminded us of the need to pray for them and their families who were now going to have to adjust to being one member short.
