Let us pray for those Christians who are in danger throughout the world. Also please remember people living in the flooded areas in Britain and America.

Let us pray for the safety of the three astronauts who will be working at the International Space Station until June next year. Let us also remember babies taken into care at birth, or very shortly afterwards, and their mothers who sufferfrom alcohol or drug addiction or are mentally challenged making this sad separation a necessity.

Ironically, two groups of people need our prayers. They are those living in severe drought conditions in Namibia and those in Cumbria, Lancashire and Scotland who have suffered from the very recent flooding and have to face months of cleaning-up. Let us pray for all of them.

The Christmas Gift, Book and Craft Fair last Sunday raised £600 for the Peace Hospice, £25 for the Church Development and £135 for the Pathfinders.
Many thanks to all who supported this event last Sunday. -
Kids Art Club...10am . Sun 22nd Nov. We welcome every child to explore their artistic skill. A morning full of fun while learning.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS, BOOKS AND CRAFTS FAIR. Come along to purchase some special gifts or just for a chat and some lunch. It's on Sunday November 15 from 11 to 3 p.m. Light lunches will be available. There is also a car wash and a therapeutic massage provided by the Pathfinders. For Gourmet chefs a variety of nuts will be on sale. The profits from this craft fair will go to the Peace Hospice.

The Week of Prayer, starting on Sunday at 7:30 pm will be taken by Dan Augsburger. Dan has worked as a Pastor and currently serves as a teacher at Andrews Theological Seminary. He and his wife Rose, travel all around the world inspiring folk in their prayer life and in revival. We welcome Dan and Rose, and look forward to their ministry here at Stanborough Park.

The Welfare Department welcomes gifts of food such as tinned vegetables, fruit and soup, dried pasta, jars of pasta sauce, jam, honey and spreads, etc. -

Let us pray for those flighting for legitimate human rights around the world. Also, in view of what happened in China, let’s pray for those seeking animal right also.

Ministry leader to submit a formal request for the use of rooms after Sep 2015. It should include what is the intended use of each room and the frequency desired. Please send your request by the end of June to the pastoral team or the elder responsible for your ministry.

- We ask all members to submit 9 names of other members in good and regular standing who could serve in the recommendations committee. The outcome of this group is a list of names to be approved by the church of those who will be part of the nominating committee.
- The outcome of the nominating committee is the list of members to serve as leaders of our church for the next two years. This list will of course have to be approved by the church at large. The nominating committee is comprised of 9 members, two associate pastors and our senior pastor as the chair.

These and other publications are available for free from the church’s concourse. Please help yourself and take it to your friends and neighbours too. Also, if your place of work has a waiting area with literature, why not take some and leave it there?

Synopsis: Sometimes life is so busy that it is hard to find the time to slow down, talk with God and dwell on what is important in life. Every month at Stanborough Church we set aside time to do that. Through worship, a short talk, and creative prayer activities we spend time in prayer, either alone or with others. All are very welcome to join us from 3:30 – 4:30pm on the 5th November.

August: Day trip to the Maize Maze 22nd August
Meet at Millets Farm Centre, near Abingdon, Oxfordshire on Sunday, 22nd August at 2.30pm to race around the maze and see who can be first to finish. Or come early to visit the Farm Zoo, play area and tea room. Under 2s go free! See Alix or Dan for details.
September: Picnic on Stanborough Park 11th September
Everyone welcome to eat lunch and have fun together straight after the morning service on 11th September. There will be cake to celebrate Parallel’s 2nd birthday.
